When you are pregnant, there are classes to take, experts to confide in, and ample amounts of information available. There’s checklists that help us feel like we’re heading in the right direction supporting our baby and our body.
But then we give birth.
And we find ourselves in this abyss. There’s no path laid out for us, little to no advice from our birth provider, and a lot of loud voices with opposing opinions on the internet.
It’s like we abandon the mother when she needs the most support.

Day One, January 30th: Foundations
In this masterclass, I’ll teach foundational knowledge about how your core and pelvic floor function. I’m going to show how your breath affects everything. And how you can set yourself up for future optimal health during this time.
Day Two, January 31st: Flow Forward
Day two is a guided gentle flow movement practice with a visualization exercise at the end. This will give you the techniques to unwind your stressed out body and strengthen your core. The visualization will help you create space to hear your inner voice.
Because it has never been more important, now that you are a mother, to be connected to your intuition.
Hi! I’m Kate.
I have always been passionate about our body’s innate potential to heal. Which lead me to study Exercise Science & Kinesiology as an undergraduate, and propelled me towards the field of Chiropractic with additional training in Yoga and Functional Rehabilitation. My passion shifted into my purpose when I became a mother in 2016.
Frustrated by the lack of guidance and support in my own postpartum experience, I craved a safe space to heal my body and my heart after pregnancy and birth.
Committed to the vision of a movement practice that nourished & healed my postpartum body – I set out to combine the wisdom of Yoga with the science of functional rehabilitation to address the unique needs of the postpartum period (body, mind and spirit).
Through this practice I was able to heal my own diastasis recti and pelvic floor dysfunction. From there I was inspired to bring it to the mamas in my community.
Since its’ conception, MamaCore has grown into a postnatal specific semester class. It has been offered at gyms and studios, with the intention to provide new mamas with the movements and community that we all crave during this important transition period in our life.
I am so excited to be able to bring this practice to you, in the comfort of your own home. And I am here to support you on your journey.
